I didn’t have a goal with this meditation other than to decompress really quickly and then get back to my tasks for the day. It’s been a bit more hectic than usual lately, so I’m taking less time than usual during afternoon sessions.
I’m hoping to return and recommit to my “side quests” and some loose threads relatively soon, but in the meantime I’ll continue to publish tiny illustrations (emblems).
About This Tiny Illustration (Emblem)
About two and a half or three years ago I was laying down and meditating in the afternoon. I wasn’t doing anything complicated, just resting in F10 (mind awake, body asleep).
To my surprise, an elderly grey alien face appeared in front of me. Unlike this tiny illustration, the overall appearance was composed of white and light grey line-work against a black void backdrop. There was a sense of atmosphere, a space between our individual awareness. The being’s face made slight facial adjustments. The face in general was old and weathered. This individual “felt” not just ancient but also wise and completely in control.
The overall experience felt like it lasted for five long minutes, but in reality it was simply a few moments that felt like an eternity.
I’ll probably attempt to capture the memory a few more times. For example, the angle here is slightly off. There are other details, but most importantly I’d like to figure out the white on black version at some point.
