It’s a new week and a good time to start a new thread of inquiry. Over the past three months I’ve been tracking the duration from query to resolution, which also includes integration. The fastest ones take a few days, as they resolve within the same week that the query is cast. On average, the total time from question to integration is around two weeks to a month. The month-long progressions tend to be much more serious and take more effort to fully clear up, which also usually includes some sort of shadow work alongside this process.
To know the duration of the query being cast is impossible, so I don’t think about that at all. What I asked today: “Show me what’s already flowing.” Something is in the process of unfolding but I can’t quite put my finger on what it is exactly.
The meditation today was excellent! From prep to moving through focus states and eventually entering a deep trance, all went just like I remember. It’s strange how something can tweak just a little bit, you get used to it relatively quickly, but once it goes back to “the usual” it’s so obvious.
Phosphene activity is back to being very busy and responsive to focus states. I’ve always felt that they had more meaning rather than just being random shapes and blobs moving around. I think they can be just that when left alone, but if you pay attention they will begin to form patterns that respond to certain situations, even contact. I like to call it my human-trance low-res user interface.
No deep and immersive altered states after this session. I was pretty beat up from working in the yard for a couple of hours in the now warm, and not punishing yet, San Joaquin sun.
