Now, I am that.
Field Notes 20260527 - Wednesday
Over the weekend I was struck with a sudden inspiration for my morning routine, specifically Mondays. I don’t know if it was really all that dramatic — the “plan” has been resurfacing from the deep bowels of the subconscious recursive loop engine for a few months now. I’ve been meaning to integrate meditation into mornings in a meaningful way. Last time I approached this it was too frequent and way too little time. This turn I picked a function that something like this would serve and refined the idea until it made sense.
That probably sounds way too verbose for what basically could be said as, “Yea man, I now meditate for half an hour first thing Monday mornings before going on a hella fast 10k run, bro.” In some circles I do code switch to exactly this voice, so I guess it fits, and it does the job better than what the guy in the previous paragraph sounds like.

- Moon: Virgo 7° | Waxing Gibbous
Meditation
- 30 Minutes.
- Expand App, timer section, F15 (The “No time place”).
I thought it’d be harder than afternoons; it wasn’t.
I mostly spent my time manifesting in F15 (place without time). First, I observed the run I was about to go on. Then I lived in my wish fulfilled on a different subject. Closed out with, “Now, I am that.” Gave my gratitude, put the gear away, put fast-paced midtempo and drum & bass on through my PowerBeat Pros, ripped a 10k at my fastest average pace yet.
