The current runs its course.
Field Notes of Rahgah - 20260925-S6
Let the charge run its course. There is a lesson to its order.
The following entry sat in the drafts for fourteen months. Same reason the outline got left out of the account two days ago: back then I published the part that was easier to say and kept the rest. I’ve stopped doing that. So here it is, in full, with the beam, the chakras, and the throat.
From an unpublished entry 20250727:
It’s late afternoon to early evening, and I feel compelled to lie down for a specific session. I recently tried it out but haven’t been thinking a lot about it, yet something kept nagging me to the effect of, “Go to the office, lie down, and put the track on. Do it now.” I’ve learned that when these signals occur it’s usually a good idea to listen, so I did.
I put on Dick Sutphen’s Astral Projection track and did my usual prep. I was a point of awareness when I turned away from the Energy Conversion Box. Settled into F10 with Sutphen method just fine. Color blobs and illumination in full swing, haven’t seen this phosphene action in a while.
As Sutphen moved on to the chakra portion of the track, a bright white shimmering light came down from above… I saw it, exactly. The light was coming from far away; it was swirling and shimmering as it touched my head. It was time to open the crown chakra. Before the purple color was ever brought up, I saw the light turn purple, swirl larger in diameter, as it was opening and charging the crown chakra.
The light moved on down to the third-eye chakra and illuminated in violet and blue swirls, opening and charging. And so on it went all the way down to the root chakra. By the end I could literally see my aura all around me, large and swirling with chakra colors, energized. Not gonna lie, this was a bit intense but also simply amazing.
We then went deeper, and deeper, and deeper. It was time to feel and absolutely sense your chakras vibrating from root to crown; I haven’t experienced this yet. Moving from root and up, I suddenly felt a low rumble; it was sturdy and solid. From heart to crown things got real, real fast. With each step, vibrations changed, got stronger, more intense, and faster.
One snag: when the throat chakra was in focus for activating the vibration, I ended up choking a bit. I couldn’t tell if it was the fan that was on in the office and the dry air or if it’s an indication of something I should look into.
By the end I had zero doubt where my physical body ended and my energy body began. My entire being, all aspects of it, was ringing like a bell. Absolutely stunning experience.
An aside: While I didn’t have clear vision for the rest of the session, I did project, lightly hovering above my physical body facing the ceiling. When Sutphen called back, I zipped back down and clicked into place where my physical body was lying. I was so overwhelmed by the chakra portion of the session that I quite frankly didn’t care much about the rest. Looking back, also having read some material after this event, I undoubtedly experienced a kundalini awakening. Energy work since then has been different; my practice in general took on a new quality as well.
This session happened the day after I published “A State of Absolute Potential,” the entry where I decided to stop asking what my energy body looks like and see myself as a point of awareness. Read the second paragraph above again. I was a point of awareness when I turned from the box. Everything I said two days ago about why I don’t see a form when I project traces back to that decision, and the beam arrived the very next evening as if to show me.
The other thing is that I wasn’t there for the chakras, I put on the track for the astral projection. The chakra half is the first half of that session, and I sat through it because it was the price of the second half. I used to say, out loud and with some pride, that chakras were made-up nonsense. The demonstration ran on the part of the track I had no interest in, on a subject I had mocked, with me doing nothing. I didn’t follow along, I didn’t visualize, I watched and felt it happen.
Here’s the part that took me a little over a year to figure out. Sutphen’s sequence runs crown to root first, activating and balancing on the way down, then root to crown, charging on the way up. That is exactly the order the event ran. A beam from somewhere out there came into the crown and worked down. Then the rumble started at the root and climbed. The script gave the sequence, but I wasn’t the one executing it.
Something ran the template the track had already put in me, and positioned me to watch. That’s the same class of event as the others I’ve logged where the work was done on the instrument rather than by it.
Today’s panel is the console screen near the foot of the bed. It shows the chakra system the way I understand it now: a vertical column of seven glyphs on a central axis. Square at the root, crescent, triangle, circle, oval, then a small circle with two petals at the brow, and a larger circle with a dot at the crown.
The five lower glyphs are the old element signs, earth through ether, which is why the geometric version reads so cleanly. Two lines run up either side of the column, cross once at the brow, and open outward past the crown without meeting. I went with the geometric treatment because it’s easier to learn and easier to read, and because five shapes and a sequence is all the system needs to be.
What I’ve been reading since is Itzhak Bentov’s model of kundalini: in deep relaxation the heartbeat sets up a standing wave in the aorta at around seven cycles a second, the whole body starts to oscillate with it, and that oscillation drives a loop of sensation through the sensory cortex. Up the legs and spine, over the crown, down the face and throat, closing at the abdomen. Vibrations, heat, jerks, inner sounds, lights, and blocks where the wave hits resistance. The body becoming the bell.
He proposed it in the seventies, it was never tested at scale, and it’s still the only account on my shelf that predicts the climb, the sounds, the jerks, and the ringing from one mechanism.
On direction, since I’ve been asked and have asked myself. Energy in this body goes up the center and down the outside. That’s the resonant energy balloon from the Gateway Program: draw it from the feet to the crown, out the top, down all around, back in at the feet. It’s a torus, and the seven centers sit on its axis. The torus I see in certain situations and with closed eyes looks like this. By feel alone the heart and the solar plexus are its core, and Bentov’s oscillator is the heart, so that lines up. The confusion about whether energy goes up or down goes away once you ask which surface you’re on.
I’ve been playing with this energy for fourteen months without calling it anything in particular. Circulating on the breath for a few minutes in a chair and getting phosphene activity out of it. Running a loop from toes to crown and back like a yo-yo. Drawing it into the palms on a run. Pulling a spirit chill up to the third eye while standing in place and feeling the pressure land there.
None of that requires trance. It works while I’m awake and it’s repeatable, which is more than I can say for most of what happens on the daybed. So that’s where the work on this goes next: cultivate it awake, learn what it does under which conditions, then bring what’s learned into the seam where the breath is gone and the body is asleep.
A last note on the world of Rahgah. Things float and levitate on Rahgah. I said on Wednesday that it shouldn’t be free, and this entry is the proof of concept. When I’m sick, the immersive states retreat, meditation dulls, finally the rest of the psionic aspects nearly disappear.
The body pays for what the field does. A hero who can turn into anything is running on a full tank, and the console is there to read it.
